Recommended diet

If you are considering joining a psilocybin retreat we recommend the following:

  • Drinking plenty of water during your retreat.

  • Consuming a diet that is free from all animal products including dairy and saturated fats at least 24 hours before your intake of psilocybin.

  • Eating a light plant based meal and staying clear from all spices (hot peppers, chillies, pepper, paprika, etc), dairy ( milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, etc) and fried foods the night before is highly recommended.

  • Taking your dose of psilocybin on an empty stomach or at least 2.5 hours after your last meal.

  • You can expect the effects to start within 20 to 60 minutes, depending on the rate of your metabolism.
