DISCOVERY
Discovery is our foundational and intensive eight-week program based on scientifically researched mindfulness programs called MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) and mPEAK (mindfulness Performance Awareness and Knowledge). The program also combines a variety of therapeutic methods including CI (Compassionate Inquiry) a somatic approach to healing trauma.
(Please keep in mind that there is an application part before starting this program, this helps us determine if you qualify for this work).
The eight-week journey unfolds in three parts:
PART 1
Pre-Retreat Meetings- After your preliminary interview and acceptance to the program, you will be asked to attend four meetings with your facilitator, please keep in mind that it is very important that you attend every single meeting with your facilitator as scheduled and on time, missing a meeting will result on a delay of your retreat and having to re-schedule all your post-retreat meetings (we cannot guarantee that space will be available).
Includes:
Four Pre-Retreat Mindfulness Based Coaching Sessions (90 mins) once a week (Over zoom)
Exploring your retreat intention in depth
One-on-one deep exploration of what is showing up for you in the present
Weekly at-home practice Audios
Cultivation of helpful attitudes for living a peaceful life
Recognition of helpful and unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors
Recognition of emotional states and their role
Moving from a “reactionary” to a “response-able” mindset
Cultivation of a grateful mindset
PART 2
One Retreat Day (approximately six to eight hours) (In person) - Halfway through the program you will participate in a private one-on-one retreat, during this time your facilitator will take the place of a ‘sitter” to attend to anything you might need during your journey.
PART 3
Post-Retreat Meetings- The last part of the program is informed by four post-retreat one-on-one meetings with your facilitator, during this time you will have the opportunity to process and make sense of your experience to integrate your learnings and insights.

Four MPI (Mindfulness and Psychedelic Integration) sessions (Over Zoom)
Unpacking of the retreat experience
Recognition of insights and learnings
Guiding principles from insights and learnings
Practicing living in the present
Cultivation of Self Compassion through inquiry and understanding
Recognition of authentic self
